True Food Kitchen Tampa

While the weather and traffic tried to ruin our “TRULY amazing” experience at True Food Kitchen, it didn’t succeed.

In fact, the rain combined with the hospitality of the True Food Kitchen Staff encouraged many of us to stay longer and order even more of the amazing options found on the menu — Visit the Website

We were greeted and cared for by the incredible staff from the moment we arrived. Each of us was served a drink of choice, and tables were set with our first course, a robust and fresh salad. Medjool dates, dried cranberry, jicama, organic apple, manchego, farro, and Marcona almonds, with a champagne vinaigrette, were a flavor explosion and fabulous vegetarian option.

Next up, two different types of pizza were served. Chicken sausage with a smoked gouda that melted in your mouth, and a classic Margherita pizza topped only with the freshest ingredients you would expect from True Kitchen were both a hit. The pull of the crust was perfect! The Hummus is a must to try as it is the creamiest herbed hummus ever! It was beautifully topped with cucumber, cherry tomato, onion, olive, feta, lemon oregano vinaigrette & house-made pita. It was heavenly!



While we enjoyed our selection of foods we were fortunate to get to hear all about the history of True Kitchen. We learned of the philosophy behind their foods, their mission, and their commitment to delicious, healthy, fresh food options. Not only do they take great care in their menu selections, but they also extend that care to the bar as well. They look into how everything is sourced before it is served in any of their locations. Their staff is also encouraged to travel to assist with the opening of new restaurants and learn more about the sustainability and culture that is woven into all that True Kitchen does.

We truly appreciate the hospitality shown to us by both management and our amazing server for the night. Please be sure to send your guests and your friends and family to True Food Kitchen.
