Double the Clearwater Beach Fun
Well, we sure did “Double Our Fun” in Clearwater Beach on Tuesday evening, March 22 at our two outstanding back-to-back events!
We started at our new friends Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Shop on Mandalay Avenue in North Beach. We had assorted flavored ice cream cones and cups while enjoying a delicious presentation given by Sarafina Ocampo and B.A.C.A. member Rita Besser our hostesses! This location has a huge outdoor patio with plenty of room to sit, people watch and enjoy whatever your favorite scoop is! They also have live music on the weekend!
The best news is that Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Catering team can transform your next event or special occasion into an ice cream extravaganza. They provide pop-up ice cream catering services in and around the city of Clearwater Beach and surrounding areas in Florida. Sarafina, our enthusiastic hostess, is the one that will come out to personally scoop your event in our area!

Next, our group of 25 walked up the street to our old friends, The Brown Boxer North who had some exciting changes to share. We already knew that the Brown Boxer is the premier sports pub & grille on Clearwater Beach, offering great food, drinks and daily food specials and service with two levels to enjoy. They are truly the one stop for fun as they have everything needed, day or night! Full restaurant, multiple bars, nightclub, dog friendly patio bar, arcade, pool table, darts, DJ, live music, karaoke, bingo, trivia, full screen TVs, sports, dancing, and more!
They also serve food daily till 2 AM and have completed a major expansion for that perfect private party or any event desired for all ages to enjoy with their NEW, huge open space that can be closed off to be made completely private! With this expansion they have filled a much-needed void as private space outside of hotels is so hard to find!
They served the most amazing dishes, gave us an open bar, along with our own bartender Justine, who was lovely and took great care of us. We were honored to be joined by Jay Thomas, Gator Handley, and B.A.C.A member Doug Stuart who all worked hard on making sure this event would be a memorable one for our members, General Manager, Michael Caracappa along with his dedicated staff did an outstanding job and made our evening with the Brown Boxer one we won’t soon forget. We had a brilliant time.
